POSITION: DEMOLITION TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● Removing and disposing materials (general demolition such as drywall)
● Working with hand & power tools
● Driving a variety of different kinds of company vehicles
● Setting up and taking down of worksites
● Documenting and completing any required paperwork for each job site
● Attending ongoing training and certification classes, as required & desired based on goals for advancement
● Following WorkSafeBC health and safety protocols (Training Provided)
Requirements
● Willing to learn and work with hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead and/or mold in the near future
● Willing and able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
● Willing and able to be clean shaven to ensure proper respirator fit (if applicable)
● Thrives working in a team environment
● Committed to following safe work practices
● Ability to work quickly and efficiently
● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
● Be comfortable with heights and ladders
● Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs
● Ability to communicate in English; written, reading and speaking
Qualifications and Skills
● Valid BC Driver’s License
● Legally able to work in Canada
● Lives within the lower mainland (head office is in Coquitlam)
● Previous demolition or asbestos abatement experience is great but not required

This is a proactive role and will require someone who is motivated to get the job done quickly with a strong attention to detail. You aren’t afraid to ask questions and make suggestions on how to get a job done quickly and effectively.

POSITION: ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SUPERVISOR
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● Supervising moderate and high risk asbestos abatement projects
● Supervising workers and delegating tasks
● Assisting workers in completing projects
● Assessing and ensuring job-site safety and WorkSafeBC protocols are followed at all times
● Establishing methods to meet project deadlines and coordinate work activities
● Resolving work related problems and implementing measures to improve productivity
● Completing all daily paperwork for projects and displaying necessary documents on site
● Training new workers on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
● Setting up asbestos containments and multi-stage decontamination facilities
● Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager
Requirements
● Knowledge of moderate and high risk asbestos abatement
● Commitment to following safe work practices
● Willing and able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
● Willing and able to be clean shaven to ensure proper respirator fit
● Willing and able to work in varying temperatures
● Familiar with hand tools, power tools and asbestos related equipment
● Strong initiative and work ethic
● Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills
● Dependable and reliable
Qualifications and Skills
● 2 - 3 years of previous experience in an asbestos supervisor role
● Level 1 , 2 & 3 Certification
● Valid BC Driver’s License (required)
